This is a vintage Lord Elgin wristwatch from the 1940s. The watch has a square gold-filled case with a polished finish and a gold bezel with a 12-hour fixed type. The dial features a logo pattern, Roman numerals, and a small second sub-dial. The watch has a mechanical (manual) movement with 21 jewels and an escapement type of duplex. The band is a wrap-around strap made of gold and leather squares with a hidden fold clasp. The watch comes with a case and a Spedel band.

Just found this watch in my late grandfathers closest. Must have sat there since around the 80s. In working collection with a original spedel brand band. I would have it cleaned. Other than that it's perfect. I turned the dial 2 full rotations and it started up with no problem. I'm a watch guy but this one is too fancy.
