Rare Vintage TEAC X-10R Dual Capstan Drive Bi-Directional Recording, Auto reverse, 6 heads, Japan

One of my collections reel to reel Japanese tape recorder , fantastic auto reverse future!

Tape deck is in fully working order, its used daily, has been serviced few months ago, new bets fitted, mechanics lubricated, heads polished and demagnetised, works as new!

Great sound recording when used good quality master tape, even in slower speed at 3 1/4!

For cosmetic condition please see attached pictures-few light scratches around related age but nothing major

Including original Teac NAB adapters, colour copy of original manual instruction

This is a vintage audio equipment, nearly 50 years old,you do need to have a basic knowledge of use, operate and maintenance of the machine!

I have had few returns due to buyer complaints the machine is not working because they didn’t put the tape correctly on the reels or didn’t clean heads regularly causing poor sound quality

So please, please, please DO NOT BUY if you don’t know how to use the machine! Thank you!

Due to weight, size and fragile of the tape deck its COLLECTION ONLY , cannot risk damage over transit, also new user can fully test the tape deck on collection to make sure is happy with it before paying
