This vintage Lindberg model kit is a Chris Craft 40' Sport Fisherman.  The kit was manufactured in the United States.  Kit is a motorized, 30-inch model yacht with a one-piece hull.  The kit includes all necessary plastic parts, decals, and instructions for completion.  Requires 6 'D' size batteries for operation.  One motor drives gear box and twin-shaft propellers.  This model is suitable for remote control conversion - not included.  The scale is 3/4 inch = 1 foot.

Kit was apparently started at one time and shelved in the early stages of assembly.  Looks like they made it to Stage 3 - Water Line (location of).  It appears to have been done correctly so far.  The bottom of the hull was spray painted - I would respray and start from there.  Looking through the instructions and the plastic parts (some all loose), they all appear to be in the box.
