I recently bought a large bronze/copper/modern collection of just over 800 comics. Almost all the comics were in VF+ and most of the modern books were NM or better. I have split them into 102 eight packs in a variety of price ranges. All packs will be sold for well below the estimated value.

Price guide says this 8 pack has a value of about $54: I say we don’t need no steenking price guides. 8 packs do not combine shipping with other types of listings. There is however a huge combined shipping discount for multiple 8 pack purchases. One pack pays $8 shipping, 2-6, eight packs pay $16 shipping. If you want to purchase more than 6 eight packs at one time please inquire for the shipping discount.

Postage bonus: Look, I hate paying shipping as much as you do. Postal regulations are clear. Comic books (unlike graphic novels) may not be shipped via media mail because they contain advertising. I know many people ignore this rule, but they are subject to a $500 fine if they are caught more than once (the first one is a warning). Think about it. If I were the type of person who ripped off the post office, wouldn’t I also be the type of person who would rip you off? I am not that guy. 1 8-pack will mail in a flat rate priority envelope. 2-6 eight packs will mail in a priority mail flat rate box or via standard priority mail, whichever is cheaper. Here is what I am going to do to make the “shipping pill” a little easier to swallow.  I recently bought the entire remaining stock of the fanzine Charlton Spotlight from the estate of the deceased publisher. I have issues 4, 6, 7, 8, and Spotlight Comics #1. These are still packed in boxes from the printer and are NM with only minor curling due to the way they were stacked in the boxes. If you want to take a look at them, I have a complete set listed on eBay. If you order 1 eight pack, I will include a free Fanzine. If you order 2 eight packs, I will include 2 free zines. For every pack you order up to a total of 5, I will include a free zine. I am selling these zines at $7-$9 plus postage (at or below cover price), or $25 plus postage for the lot, so the value of every free zine you get should offset or more than offset the cost of any 8 pack postage charges!

Purchase Bonus: Every 5^th order I sell gets a free (probably modern) comic from my overstock. Every 10^th order gets a free comic with a 10 cent, 12 cent or 15 cent cover price (These are mostly old gold key comics). Orders 25, 50, 75, and 102 get a free slabbed comic mailed at my expense.

Value: These books were valued with the 53^rd edition of the Overstreet Price Guide, but if you like a treasure hunt, have I got news for you!  I DID NOT take into account, newsstand editions on older books, 2^nd printings, variant covers, key issues, hot books or signed copies. So some of the 8 packs are worth far more than the listed approximate value. Use those detective skills and have fun hunting for special features on the books in each pack.
