Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this vintage, flambe-glazed art pottery bowl. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This low bowl or brush washer has beautiful glazing. The exterior has a blue flambe, and the interior is green and white with pink in between. The clay body is white pottery or porcelain. The bowl is approximately 1 3/8 inches tall, with a maximum diameter of about 4 3/4 inches. Unpacked, this pot weighs 7.7 ounces. This would be a pretty addition to a collection of Asian ceramics.
Identification
This unmarked bowl is believed to be Chinese, based on form and glazing. The exact age is not known, but it is at least vintage in age, possibly antique.
Condition
This attractive bowl looks good overall, but it is not in perfect condition. It has fine crazing. It has a vertical hairline crack from the rim downward. The bottom has some chipping and the clay foot was ground off when this was made; the glaze on the bottom side has grinding marks, as made, also. The bowl has some scattered wear scratches. Variations in glaze application are as made. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.

1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Contact the seller before bidding or buying to find out about acceptable payment methods for local pickups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
