MAURIZIO WENT ON TO BECOME THE 1983 BRDC FF CHAMPION AND WITH AYRTON SENNA BLAZING A TRAIL IN F3 THAT YEAR GREAT THINGS WERE EXPECTED OF HIM. ALTHOUGH HE CAME SECOND IN THE BRITISH F3 CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1986 HIS CAREER FALTERED AND HE RACED F3 IN JAPAN IN 1988 COMING THIRD OVERALL. HIS LAST RECORDED ACHIEVEMENT WAS A THIRD AT LE MANS IN '95.
