Stunning, large Malicorne bowl with unusual decorative edge pattern. Nice central hand-painted scene which is surrounded by a beautiful jagged-edge border in floral blues. Diameter is 13 1/2". Marked "PBx" on the bottom. Condition is perfect.
NOTE: The Malicorne pottery, located near the town of Le Mans, was a competitor to the faienceries of Quimper.
