This is a beautiful, Bombay oval jewelry box made of dark wood (possibly mahagony) that has a burlwood pattern. 

The box measures 8.25" long, 5.25" wide & stands 4" tall.

The interior is fully lined with black velveteen & the box has it's original key & can be locked. 

It is signed on the base as pictured. 

It is in very good condition & displays beautifully.
