Dimensions: 11 3/4 inches long, 5 - 5 1/4" diameter

Lightly spalted Apple round. Great colors and grain patterns, theres probably some birdseye and curl in it from the looks of the outside.

 

It's nice and firm, no punky/spongy areas I can see. Missing most of the bark and there are a few checks and cracks developing. I sealed the end cuts and wrapped it in plastic.

Apple wood turns and works really nicely, and really "pops" when finish is applied to figured pieces.
