Recently I found this fantastic jeweled Copeland Spode tall (14") flared and fluted ruffled rimmed trumpet vase in a Sonoma Wine Country estate.  This vase was commissioned for the inventory of Ovington Brothers, NYC, one of the city's finest dealers in luxury porcelain goods in the late 19th Century.   It is exceptionally uncommon anymore to find such dramatically modeled and painted 'jeweled Spode' and this beauty  well testifies to rarity and demand that makes it so hard to find such pieces today!  As pointed out above in  'Condition' previous owners have obviously honored and validated it's beauty by the skill and expenses invested to restore it.   We do not 'own' such items...but are merely 'current custodians ..and much appreciation should go to 'previous custodians' who preserved and celebrated the skill and beauty it illustrates so well!

I look forward to 'passing it along' to a 'new custodian' who recognizes what a treasure it really is!

Again, 14" tall and flares to a width of 10".
