This is a vintage set of brass fighting roosters that were made in Japan during the mid-century period. Most likely made in the 80s. The roosters are designed to be wall hangings and are made of brass. They are not handmade and their condition is wonderful.
You can see in the photos where on the back of each rooster it says "Japan." They are 12 inches from tip of beak to longest tail feathers and are very striking especially in the right decor scheme.
