BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE TIBETAN SCROLL HOLDER eastern prayer document case box pierced

A very attractive case which is eastern in origin, perhaps Tibetan?  It was made to hold prized documents.  The metal is not hallmarked but tests for fine silver. 

Its a beautiful item and has been skilfully made.  One end unscrews so that it can be opened.

Condition:-  very good condition.  There is a small dent to one of the ends which is not that noticable.

Size:-  total length is 6.5 inches (16cm)
