Here we have a good clean example of a 15”Beech technical jack plane.

The nomenclature attached to these planes relates to their use in schools and technical colleges where rugged tools were required.

Every secondary modern school boy of the 1950s will recall these in woodworking class( 2 hours every Thursday)

The plane offered has no manufacturers stamp but is obviously factory made, with striking button for tap and set adjustments. The iron which is ground and sharp is by AARON HILDICK a old established SHEFFIELD maker,

This plane would also make an excellent shooting board plane as the sides are 90degrees to the sole which is straight and flat.

Condition exactly as per photos.
