This vintage metal Snoopy in the Music Box from Mattel is from 1966.  The music box feature works well and locks securely.  It is a perfect piece for display by the Peanuts or Snoopy collector.  The item is made of high-quality metal material that is in good shape.  No major rust or dents.  

Snoopy is complete although a bit dirty from age and use.  Ears are intact but a little ragged on the edges.  Snoopy's eyes are complete-his nose has some paint missing (due to hitting the side of the box when put  back in).  There is a yellowish substance on the top of his head (I have seen it on others listed on eBay as well-seems like glue?).

In good condition for a toy that was well loved from 58 years ago.
