The EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve in a car is an essential component of the engines emission control system. Its primary function is to reduce pollution by reducing the formation of harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the engines exhaust gases. The EGR valve achieves this by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gas back into the engines intake manifold.
When the EGR valve is open, a small amount of exhaust gas is redirected from the exhaust system and reintroduced into the combustion chambers. This gas acts as an inert gas, effectively diluting the air and fuel mixture. By lowering the oxygen levels in the combustion chambers, the EGR valve reduces the peak combustion temperature, minimizing the formation of nitrogen oxides. Returns
Prestige Auto Parts has a 30 day return policy. Parts will only be accepted for return if they are still in the original packaging with all associated accessories. All items must be returned unused and undamaged.
Buyer must pay for return if wrong product was ordered by not confirming the fitment of a product with a vin number or rego prior to ordering. eBay vehicle compatibities are guides only and not always accurate
Make sure you send your item to us using a tracked courier or post service. Please include your invoice number with all returns so we can identify your original order.
