The main 96 pages of the programme detail everything that there was to be seen at the Festival of Britain Exhibition held on the South Bank London in 1951. Maps describe where to go in the various halls and the best route to go around them to see everything. There are many articles and photographs describing everything there was great about being British at that time.

The 64 supplementary coloured pages contain advertisements for many different 'Best of British' products that were made in Britain at that time.
