I think there is no doubt that the top is made of veneer, but you can also see the Jacaranda wood grain on the side and back inside. It is unknown whether it is made of veneer or not.

Mr. Masaru Matano started a workshop in Kurume and subsequently became involved in the founding of Asturias Guitars. When Mr. Matano adjusts a guitar, it revives the guitar to a completely different tone, so he is said to be a magician of sound, and is also famous as the first Japanese guitar maker to adjust the famous violin Stradivarius.

Unfortunately, Mr. Matano suddenly disappeared from the classical guitar world in 1981, and his whereabouts were never heard, leaving him as a legendary guitar writer with many mysteries.

There are no breaks or cracks, and it is in good condition considering its age.

*Please note that there are minor scratches on the surface, dents in the 10th photo, and clouding of the side paint.
