Vintage Stangl Pottery Pansy Dishes ~ Lot of 3

These lovely pieces are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. They are hand painted and so very pretty! They are authentic Vintage Stangl Pottery as you can see with the Stangl Mark on the underside of each piece.

They measure approximately 4 in. in diameter and are between 0.5-1 in. in height. All are slightly different in shape and size.

These pieces can be used for many purposes, such as a Butter Pat, Tea Bag Holder, Trinket Dish, Key Holder, Ashtray, Spoon Rest, etc. Really whatever your heart desires :o)

A little history about the company that manufactured these:

Stangl Pottery was a company in Flemington (and later Trenton), New Jersey, that manufactured a line of dinnerware and other items. The company was originally founded as Samuel Hill Pottery in 1814, until 1860 when it became Fulper Pottery. The name changed to Stangl Pottery in 1955. The company ceased production and closed in 1978, but the dinnerware is still prized by collectors. Pieces can be identified by the Stangl name on the bottom. The original Flemington, New Jersey, location and showroom was bought in May 2011 to make space for a restaurant, a studio, and an art gallery.
