A Natural Gourd Snuff Bottle, Qing Dynasty. A  dried globular knobby gourd that is hollowed, lacquered and buffed to serve as a snuff bottle with an inserted and affixed narrow ceramic collar. The stopper is made of a natural gourd stem as the finial affixed to a cork and spoon of an organic material.
Condition: The skin with a beautiful patina, normal signs of wear and age, otherwise fine.
Overall size: 2.875 in. high x 3 in. in diameter (7.3 x 7.6 x 7.6).
