Vintage ceramic tile of a Revolutionary War-era soldier in the 1st Pennsylvania Battalion in 1775. Image appears to be based on the 1956 painting by French painter R. Desvarreaux Larpenter.
Has some writing on the back that says #4. I don't know if that means this was #4 in a series. The number 76 is imprinted in the tile on the back, perhaps an indicator that this was made in 1976 (maybe for the American Bicentennial), though I can't confirm that.
Small chips along bottom edge. Overall in good condition. Please see photos.
