19th Century Qing dynasty period Chinese porcelain plate for export, with fencai decoration.

The dish is hand crafted with a celadon glazed ground and taoist fruit basket and emblems in a famille rose palette; and accented with gold; mounted in a later-dated 20th century charming wood frame as a wall plaque. The mark on the back, in blue, is an unclear mark known to be used from the Tongzhi period and after.

The stained wood frame measures 9.5-inches in diameter; the plate itself is 7.5-inches in diameter.
