Here is a lovingly cared for Yamaha 7.2 Channel RX-A860 AVENTAGE network AV receiver featuring Dolby Atmos 9 (never tried it) and DTS:X for surround sound realism. HDMI technologies, experience movies in stunning 4K Ultra HD and high dynamic range (HDR). This receiver works well for surround sound!  The free MusicCast app makes it easy to access your music library and streaming music services. Add audio in up to 9 additional rooms with MusicCast wireless speakers or other MusicCast devices. WiFi, Bluetooth and AirPlay wireless connectivity, and a phono input for vinyl playback and Zone B HDMI out provide added system versatility.  Banana speaker jacks, Stereo L/R RCA, Digital Optical TOSLINK (two inputs from devices) and much more. Take a look at Yahama web site for total specification and capability. It has numerous sound fields, selectable via the remote, for both music and movies - adventure, Sci-Fi, Drama to name just a few, etc plus Vienna Concert Hall, Munich Concert Hall, Roxy theater, chamber music, and much more - even mono movies, not to mention two channel stereo and 7 channel. Sound fields can be used for music and/or movies.  It has connectivity for networks, both wired (Cat 5 wiring) or wireless.  It has a COAX input. It has 9 speaker terminals (I used two subwoofers (one using RCA output), center, left, right, Surround left and Right and rear left and right) and can do voice control (never used, but works with Alexa somehow) and 4K passthrough for video-lots of HDMI connections. You can set the audio delay to synch audio to video. 

The receiver is in excellent condition, comes with remote (no batteries), electric cord, manual on CD plus printed manual, antenna for Bluetooth and AM/FM radio - printed manual adds a couple of pounds to the shipping.  See pictures, all included items in the pictures. Of special interest is the microphone, which plugs into the front of the console: this allows you to set distances to speakers, select their size, and walk test tones around the room and set their volumes. So why am I getting rid or it?  I have just purchased a Denon AVR-6700, which has 8K passthrough.

Please notify us if you do not want the printed manual included, if you want to print out your own manual from the included disc.  I STRONGLY recommend that you READ THE MANUAL to “tune” this receiver to your environment-but ordinary setup for inputs and speakers can be accomplished by looking at the rear receiver diagram and hooking things up that way to get it operating before tuning.   Original box and packing materials.
