AER amplifiers have been the standard for amplification for all acoustic instruments and voices for many years. AER develops professional solutions for your acoustic amplification questions, the constant development of new products and permanent contact with musicians is an important part of the AER philosophy.
The AER Alpha is a compact combo amp for acoustic instruments. It has one channel with 2 individual inputs that allow parallel use of instrument and microphone, even though the instrument is the main focus. Inputs each have their own gain knob. Birch plywood cabinet provides great tone projection and is road tough. Dynamic controlled 40 Watts RMS and the 8" twin-cone speaker system give perfect performance at all sound pressure levels. Onboard reverb, external effects loop and headphone out.
The Alpha amplifier defines the starting point of serious acoustic amplification at AER. Based on the success and the experience with the Compact 60 they have developed an even smaller, lightweight model that has no difficulties living up to the rigors of the road. Amazingly reduced, without losing what is essential for superb performance - the Alpha is a full size member of the AER product family. Open sounding and quick in response, this guitar amp masters different ranges and is not afraid of bigger instruments.
The AER Alpha gives you 40 watts of power, weighs just over 14 lbs and measures 10.24"H x 10.43"W x 9.25"D. This Alpha is made in Germany and configured to 115 volts for use in the USA.

Condition:
This beautiful amp is in "Very Good" condition with minor signs of use and a nice, clean control panel. Aside from a few scuffs to the cabinet, the only other thing worth mentioning is just a few light scratches to the back panel, most too faint to make out well in the pics. The removable front foam insert has gone missing. The manual was also missing so we are including the pictured copy. A new AC Cord is also included. Please inspect the pictures thoroughly for actual condition.  
Testing:
We set this up on our test bench and it passed with flying colors! It powered right up, pumping out clear, distortion-free audio from both channels with no hum or buzz! All controls and features work correctly and all inputs and outputs have been confirmed working. Further testing was performed, if there is a specific feature you would like to know more about just let us know before buying. What a great way to save on a quality piece of equipment!

Please remember, there are multiple ways to measure output wattage, "Peak," "Music," "RMS", "Continuous," "Maximum," & "Total" just to name a few. In addition, this value can change drastically depending on the impedance of the speakers being driven. Typically, our title will give the most reasonable "Total watts" value, while the description will give more detailed information. We suggest you do independent research to be assured you are making informed comparisons when shopping.

Return Policy
Our Free Support MUST be used before any return is requested, for any reason!
Item can be exchanged, new items within 30 days, used items within 14 days, if defective or not as described, full refund of purchase price if exchange is not available. 
If due to seller error: 
The Best, Ltd. will issue a pre-paid return label, or make pre-arranged reimbursement for return shipping expenses on returns completed per this policy. Return shipping cost is not to exceed original shipping cost.
