Vintage Japanese ginger jar table lamp, marked on base. It does work. White spots on lamp in photos is reflection glare from lighting. 

It is 34 1/2" tall to top of finial, 21" tall to top of socket and approx 9" diameter. Weighs 6 lbs 15 oz. 

No chips or cracks in ceramic, brass base has a crack. Metal is aged. Wood base has chips that where covered with wood stain.
