I bought this from new for about £430 in 1998 for recording and teaching. It has been looked after but inevitably shows the usual signs of wear and age where you would expect a guitar to.

I replaced the original metal surround for the jack input as the original one was just a nut which wasn't very resistant to the cable jack flexing and putting strain on the body when plugged in. The new surround covers a larger area to protect the body when a cable is plugged in.

It was restrung about 2 years ago and has hardly been played since.

The 4-Band Shadow P4 EQ takes a 9V block battery and is fully working. It also has two fixing points for a strap (not included).

The tuning keys all work with a smooth, precise action. One of the white plastic washers broke and another is in place but has cracked. These don't affect the keys effectiveness. The action with the missing one feels slightly less smooth and the cracked one feels fine. They all hold their position well once tuned. The plastic rings would be cheap to replace, I imagine it's because the plastic becomes brittle over time.

I've shown the few marks on the body - they look much worse in the photos being taken close-up with excessive light - some aren't even visible when viewed normally. The fret board is naturally more worn in the first few frets but nothing excessive and likewise the frets are only slightly worn, they don't need to be replaced.

This does not come with a case so if you buy it, please make sure you have something suitable to protect it. The guitar is for collection only and please feel free to ask any questions.
