I can't be sure about his chair, but it looks similar to the Halabala lounge chairs I've seen.  It has an original label, but there's not enough of it left to make much out from it.  It appears to have original upholstery which is fragile and beginning to come off, but still looks nice in the photos!  This was clearly a favorite chair and has lots of wear patina.   Generally the wood is well worn with surface scratches, but could be brought back to its former glory if refinished.  I've just run a coat of oil over it to clean it up.   This chair came from a family home in Upstate New York.
