This player does spin when wound up! Surley it needs work and to be honest i know nothing about it. I wound it up and about an hour later it just started spinning. Actually just realized when you flip the arm over it just starts spinning and now it doesnt want to stop.  I did find the tip or needle but it seems to have broken off. I truly feel if this had a new needle it would play fine.  Please see all photos for best description. Truly a pice of history and art. Thank you
