OUTSTANDING NEW 1950s Stetson WHIPPET Beaver 15 Fedora. It’s a size 7 but this could be stretched to a 7-1/8. It’s perfectly shaped! It’s a real looker! That wide bound edge really stands out!
You can see that this is a 1950s Stetson because of the size tag, there is plastic overlay on the liner and the Stetson logo!
This color is a beautiful SilverBelly! Picture number 2 is the best representation of the actual color of this great fedora! We took pictures inside the home, outside the home, dusk to dawn and they just do not do justice to the actual color!
You can see we filled the picture gallery so you can see every detail on this fedora! NOTHING TO HIDE! It appears pristine and unworn! NO MOTH BITES! NO STAINS ANYWHERE! So as my grandson was shaping the hat it looks like his wet finger touched the liner while it was being steamed. Darn it, he left a wet finger tip dot now on that perfectly clean liner. Another well learned lesson! See the last pictures.

The beaver is very very soft and thick. We took out dad’s collection of 1950 Stetson Beaver hat, 3X 10X, 15X, 20X and the TwentyFive. This best matches a 15X Beaver. This was a higher quality hat that could be an everyday hat. This is extremely soft and pliable and can easily steamed into any shape or style you desire. We think this shaping looks perfect though for this fedora!
This is a hat folks will notice! Not many folks will have this one. This is actually one of my grandson’s hats. He’s selling this one to buy another of dad’s hats. It’s been worn less than a handful of times.

There is a size tag that states “7” and we actually measure each hat 3 times to verify its true size. This measures to a size 7+ at 22-1/8 inches.
A perfect 7 is 22 inches and a perfect 7-1/8 is 22-3/8 inches. This could be stretched to a 7-1/8 though, that’s 22-3/8 inches. Dad says that the maximum stretch though. It’s will take a $14 Amazon hat stretcher or any hat stretcher will do. It just takes a lot of time and patience.

Dad has added a black coat trolley string added to this hat. It looks really fantastic with that added touch of class! Dad has these listed here on eBay. If you look through the listings you can see these. Dad has quite a few of older 1960s dead stock ones he acquired from an old hat shop that went out of business. They sell for about $18 but if you decide you’d like one to your hats? These are still all very elastic and can be sewn on by any decent tailor or just added as a decoration.
