It is signed by Paul Simonon: bass player with The Clash, The Good, the Bad & the Queen - and committed motorcyclist and painter. The artwork reflects his history with motorcycles, which dates back to his early years seeing rockers around the 59 Club in Paddington, London. 

The paintings of his Wot No Bike? series are printed on high-quality paper in the book and were exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), London, in 2015. 

This was a fitting venue: the ICA was one of the first places to showcase The Clash as so many pubs and clubs had banned punk bands in 1976/77.
