Unfortunately, there is very little that I know for fact about this item. It was part of a box lot at a local antique auction, who labeled it as an "antique sewing kit". However, as the photos clearly show, it has manicure/personal grooming items and appears that the pins/sewing needles were merely stuck into later on. *shrugs* I do not know. I can say that the little case that it is all housed inside is in rough condition. The tweezers are stamped "Germany" and the metal file is stamped "Kreuzbube, Solingen, C. Everts, Germany". The item that looks like a sharp little scoop (I have no idea what it is, sorry) is stamped "Everts, Germany". Everything is in useable condition, with definite rust on the tweezers, though it could stand for a proper cleaning and disinfecting before you do that. Whether it is antique or merely vintage, I can't say with certainty, but my guess is that it is merely vintage - likely from the 1940s-1960s.
