George III sterling silver sugar / spice caster or muffineer. Hexagonal body is decorated with ribbed girdles and tapers towards a square pedestal plinth. The domed cover is pierced with a simple dotted design.
Made by Thomas Johnson and fully hallmarked for London, 1807.

Very good antique condition. Some tarnishing inside; shallow ding to lid; the decorative border of the body has tiny nicks and a dent in one spot; few tiny dings to body.
