This vintage Japanese fishing float is a beautiful piece of maritime history. Made of hand blown glass, it has a large diameter of 12 inches, making it perfect for display. Its origins can be traced back to Japan, where it was used as a float for fishing nets.

The glass float is original, the ropes were added later for decorative purposes.

The glass is free of chips or cracks, but does show some signs of wear likely from use. I have tried to show some of the wear in the last two pictures. Any tiki bar or themed room needs to have at least one of these floats displayed!

The float is approximately 12" in diameter and the rope sling adds another 10.5" in height.

Will package with care...

Please review all pictures carefully for a better idea of condition, as pictures will give a more accurate description than I ever could! Vintage pieces may include minor surface scratching from use, and manufacturer inclusions that will only be noted if detracting from the items overall appearance or function.Feel free to ask any questions...

As with all of my auctions I will package as safely and economically as possible, however if you have certain preferences (including carrier and delivery time) please let me know at time of purchase. Please also take into consideration that this is a one person business. I handle all of the items myself from listing to shipping, and some items take more care and time to ensure everyone is satisfied with their order. All items are sold as-is, but if you're not happy with your purchase please contact me first before taking any other action, I'll do what I can to make us both happy!
