This lamp is in excellent vintage condition, it is nearly flawless! The electrical and retracting mechanism work perfectly. The brass is shiny and bright without any rust or pitting. The glass shade diffuser has no chips, cracks, deep scratches, or any other type of major visible damage. The white underside of the shade is clean without chips. The wire housing "egg" and ceiling canopy are free of damage like dents or pitting. The original wiring is solid and not frayed, which is commonly seen in these. The only possible detraction on this piece is light surface scratches. To be perfectly honest, this thing is in such great condition that if I didnt know any better, I would think it was a new fixture, it really is that nice!!

The lamp and shade measure approximately 15.75" round by 10" tall. The cord length retracted is 10" and extends to 36". The frosted glass insert is 8" tall by 5.5" wide. The wire housing "egg" is 6" tall by 3.5" wide.
