Why Buy Vintage Advertisements? Vintage
advertising, especially one that matches a family heirloom or a
cherished collectible adds value to your item as it provides fabulous
provenance showing the date made, name of manufacturer, place made, and
other product details. A vintage piece not only captures a time and
place, providing a real-time look at the past, but makes a great asset
for the historian, teacher, decorator, collector. As a gift, individual
pages and ads look great matted and framed, complementing the real item
in many cases. I.E., if you have an antique Hoosier Kitchen cabinet, a
vintage advertisement makes a great wall accessory hung near your
Hoosier showing the details.
