This listing is for a REPRINT of a PAPER Magazine ADVERTISEMENT featuring the titled & pictured item

ENLARGED AD with ADDED MARGINS on all sides for ease in framing ~ BETTER than a fragile original ~ printed on QUALITY 24 LB Ivory Vellum paper. You'll love it!

ITEM DESCRIPTION: Quality REPRINT of a Magazine AD (a great color copy of an original 1906 BLACK & WHITE AD on quality acid free paper ~ a color copy shows the aged paper with the light sepia tone coloring making it an exact duplicate of the aged original) featuring the PATROL FIRE EXTINGUISHER by American-LaFrance Fire Engine Co.

The ad beautifully illustrates the fire extinguisher and a mother with her young daughter putting out flames.

This antique, early 1900's ad has the caption, "PUT IT OUT...If there was a blaze in your kitchen, what would you do - how would you meet the danger?......."

AMERICAN-LAFRANCE FIRE ENGINE CO. The Largest Builders of Fire Fighting Apparatus in the world. General Office, 130 Erie St., ELMIRA, N.Y.

AD SIZE:  6" X 9" Sheet (text size 2 3/4" x 8 3/4" with added margins)

CONDITION:  Excellent condition from a smoke free environment and looks exactly like the aged original ad. Any printing imperfections that were on the original advertisement would also show on the exact duplicate.

The name of publication will be provided only to the winner of this item.

Why Buy Vintage Advertisements?
Vintage advertising, especially one that matches a family heirloom or a cherished collectible adds value to your item as it provides fabulous provenance showing the date made, name of manufacturer, place made, and other product details. A vintage piece not only captures a time and place, providing a real-time look at the past, but makes a great asset for the historian, teacher, decorator, collector. As a gift, individual pages and ads look great matted and framed, complementing the real item in many cases. I.E., if you have an antique Hoosier Kitchen cabinet, a vintage advertisement makes a great wall accessory hung near your Hoosier showing the details.
