If you are looking at this listing, you don't need much of an explanation for a Les Paul R9. I bought this new in 2021 from Gbrat's in Texas and used it and loved it. I have to roll the funds into a different investment for my family otherwise I would've kept this guitar for life.

The guitar has some dents and dings here and there and you will see where my arm rested a little bit of paint and Nitro chipped away. I never abuse my instruments but I play them a ton as a paid professional musician.

This is NOT A MURPHY LAB guitar but a VOS guitar with aged components by Gibson. I believe these retail new at around $6,700.00 and this particular model is SOLD OUT on Gibson's website. In my opinion the dents and dings don't detract from the instrument since many people pay a premium for a Les Paul to look aged and worn. After about ten more years of hard playing this will naturally start to look like a murphy lab. Plus, you won't fear knocking it on accident and getting that first ding.

The back is one solid piece of mahogany. The guitar was set up when I purchased it but never manipulated again since I have owned it. There aren't any playability issues.

This guitar screams and nothing compares to the Les Paul tone. It's hard to get in to a Custom Shop Les Paul these days for this price point so don't let this slip away. Gibson's prices continue to soar with no end in sight. I'm aware if I buy one of these again I'm going to have to pay big time.
