READ: There is a very small chip on the inside, at the top opening, of the shade. I tried taking a photo of it, but it just wouldn't show up. When I bought this pair, I did not see the chip. However, if you run your finger along the inside of the shade, you can feel it. This is a heavy and beautiful pair.
