Antique Victorian Walnut Tabletop Jewellery Box Cabinet / Storage Chest c.1890

Circa 1890 

A loverly example of a late 19th century tabletop jewellery box. 

The hinged lid lifts to reveal a blue silk and velvet lined interior with sections for different items of jewellery. 

The front panel can then be folded down to allow access to three storage drawers. 

All drawers are still fitted with the original pull handles and silk lined. 

A great item for any jewellery lover. 

Perfect bedroom dresser tabletop size. 

With key, working lock and key tassel as pictured.

Condition - Good. 

Interior lining all in good order with just minor age related marks and wear. 

No bad odours. 

The top of the box requires a firm push down until you hear a clicking noice to get the key to turn and lock - You will get the hang of it after a few attempts. Does not require a firm push to get it to unlock, just to lock it.
