For sale is a nice large antique sterling silver tea ball infuser.  The fluted ball is 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and the chain is 4 7/8 inches long with a squashed ¾ inch diameter ring.  The piece weighs 20 grams. The ball has a hinged lid.  It has never been monogrammed.  The piece is marked “STERLING” and “3588” on the inner rim of the lid.

Condition on the tea ball is fairly good.  There are a few tiny dings, and the ring on the end of the chain is cut and a bit squashed.  There are normal signs of use, and it closes well.  A fine sterling tea ball!
