The invention of this one-person game is credited to an unfortunate French nobleman. Thrown into the Bastille by the Sun King Louis XIV, he passed the time with an improvised “fox and goose game,” which then developed into solitaire.
The player always jumps one piece over other pieces; all pieces that are jumped over are removed from the board. At the end there should only be one playing piece left - in the middle field.
A beautifully designed game board made from local beech with elaborately sanded edges.
Danger! Not suitable for children under 3 years. Danger of suffocation due to small parts that can be swallowed.
