With this VGA box, you will be able to use your own shielded VGA and audio cables to achieve 100% noise free retro experience.

In order to play VGA incompatible games with this adapter, you will need a drive emulator like GDEMU. With GDEMU you can force 480p mode or you can run patched versions of games to be able to play in 480p mode.

Supported video output is 480p (31 kHz only) RGBHV.

Supported audio output is stereo from 3.5mm headphone jack.

This VGA box contains the necessary resistors and capacitors on RGB lines.

Note:

This VGA box is a better quality and cheaper alternative than other VGA boxes if you are using your Dreamcast for its 480p output. This device has 10Ω resistors inside that attenuate the RGB voltages to standard levels. It has fresh Taiwanese capacitors compared to the old and possibly leaky ones inside the official or 3rd party VGA boxes. Audio trace design in the PCB is also optimized to eliminate any audible noise. It is also recommended to use shielded VGA and audio cables with this adapter to eliminate any noise from the surrounding .
