Gibson Les Paul Jr. Double Cut 1989

About
GibsonLesPaulJr.DoubleCut 1989

Gibson LesPaul Jr.DoubleCut made in 1989.
The mahogany neck produces a sweet and sticky tone, and the P-90 single-coil pickup, known as a dog-ear type, produces a thick tone that is different from Fender's single-coil pickups.
Basically, the Les Paul Junior features a Kluson peg and a stop bar tailpiece, but at one time it was made with different specifications.

This is the model that arrived this time. The pegs are Grover type, and the bridge is ABR-1 type Tune-O-matic, which is quite unusual.
It is unknown when this specification was used, but for a while from the end of the 1980s, there was a time when Les Paul Featureials mounted Grover type pegs and mounted P-100 instead of P-90 on the pickup. There is a strong theory that the specifications of the Les Paul Junior were changed accordingly.

The sound is very Les Paul Junior, with a pleasant light crunch sound.
However, it goes without saying that the pitch is much better than the stop tailpiece Les Paul Junior, and the pegs are Grover type, so tuning can be done without stress.
Besides, the sound is cool. The same goes for the P-100 Les Paul Featureial, but modern Gibsons from around this era that are slightly different from the vintage ones tend to get a pretty low rating, but I personally like them a lot.
It smells a little like cigarettes.
