A model that faithfully reproduces the Epiphone brand Gibson J-45 made in 1942.
Model overview
It is no exaggeration to say that the J-45 is not only Gibson's historic classic model, but also the world standard for acoustic guitars. Launched in 1942, the original idea was to create a guitar that was stylish without being flashy and had a great sound for any acoustic guitar player.
The top of the Gibson original round shoulder body is made of thermally aged red spruce, and the back and sides are made of mahogany. The neck material is similarly one-piece mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are made of laurel. Vintage-like textures can be seen everywhere, such as the aged white button triple peg, the rectangular bridge shape, and the banner logo on the head.
Another great feature is that L.R.Baggs Element VTC, a pickup with adjustable volume and tone control, is installed from the factory.
By using thermally aged red spruce as the top material for the all-veneer board, it is a wonderful model that resonates throughout the body! Hard case !!
