Influenced by vintage Guild's iconic heritage and eccentric shape, the all-new Guild Surfliner is an offset solid-body electric guitar that combines classic styling with modern features.
Solid poplar body with comfortable 25.5-inch scale maple neck
Smooth contour lines create an asymmetrical poplar body, and the satin-finished C-shaped neck provides smooth playability and a familiar feel. The well-proportioned shape allows it to comfortably fit straps of any height. The neck and body are joined at the 17th fret.
Three professional pickups in versatile HSS format.
It's one of Guild's few electric models with a 25.5-inch scale, and has a longer string length and three pickups, providing a full range of tones, from crisp, spanky lead tones to fat, compressed rhythm tones. The classic, vintage humbucking bridge tone emanates from the GuildLB-1bridge pickup, delivering versatile tones ranging from sparkling clean single-coil-like spanks to thick, warm humbucker sounds. Pairs perfectly with the crunching single-coil tones of the two new DearmondAerosonic middle neck pickups.
