This is a lovely cardigan sweater by Peruvian Connection! Crafted from a dark brown 100% alpaca yarn with a beautiful intarsia medallion in a concentric, geometric pattern in varying hues of orange, red, very light blue, gray and black. Also has beautifully detailed button closures up the front and at the wrists. A truly unique sweater, wonderful quality and in excellent condition.

Peruvian Connection was founded in Kansas in 1976 by the mother and daughter team, Biddy and Annie Hurlbut. The impetus for the company grew out of trips Annie Hurlbut took to Peru. It was there that she bought a fitted sweater with an alpaca fur-lined collar for her mother’s 50th birthday. Biddy later showed the sweater to a local buyer, who wanted 45 more.
