MACOLAEPP pastes for machine and hand lapping are concentrates in tubes of approx. 100 g, which must be diluted in a ratio of 1:5 to 1:100 before use. They are supplied in ten graduated grain sizes from 1 to 200 µm grain size.
Ten different grain sizes meet all requirements for fast work and high surface quality. It should be noted that a coarser grain size (80 to 500) should be used for hard materials and a finer grain size (750 to 2000) for soft materials.
Possible applications on lapping machines and lapping plates (gray cast iron, glass):
Pumps - sliding rings - surfaces - shafts - gears - fitting rings - taps - plugs - fittings - valves - housings - flanges - seals - slides - sealing surfaces - molds - mold making - tools - punching tools - cutting tools - knives - cutting - cutting surfaces - drawing dies - bearings - Hydraulics - inlet and outlet channels - skids - gear transmissions - worms - reamers - milling cutters - crankshafts - differentials, etc.
Application:
for coarser abrasion on hard metals and hardened steels - K 80 / 120 / 180 / 220
for fine abrasion on hard metals and natural steels, e.g. E.g. valves, gears, tools, sintered metals, etc. - K360/500
for the finest surfaces on measuring tools, calibers, shafts, etc. - K750/1000
for finest tools, finest workpieces e.g. E.g. nozzles, measuring instruments - K 1500 / 2000
Oil-soluble lapping pastes - They should be diluted with oil or turpentine in a ratio of 1:5 to 1:100
