We are offering this scarce, vintage Riviera dinner plate in mauve blue glaze. The Riviera line of dishes was made by the Homer Laughlin China Company (HLC) that also made other fabulous solid color lines including Fiesta Ware, Harlequin and Tango (just to name a few). As is typical of this line, the plate is not marked. It measures 9 3/4” and is considered by the maker to be a 10” plate. This size plate was a separate purchase and not included with their standard place setting. Fewer of these were made and are very hard to find. There is some scratches and signs of use of the front; it presents very well. The back of the plate has the marks from the firing pins as well as a couple minor glaze skips. There is also a flat chip (very typical for this line) that someone (not us) tried to color in. These are not visible on the front of the plate. We bought this over 20 years ago and it came that way to us. Otherwise, no repairs nor other comments on condition. Please see our photos as they are part of our description. We pack well and will ship via USPS aground Advantage within the USA lower 48 states only. We maintain a nonsmoking and pet free household.
