Levi’s original vintage men’s transitional 501 jeans.

Made in USA in the early 1980s.

Factory code #8.

These fall into that transitional period in the early 80s when many 501s being produced were still selvedge redlines while these appear to be among the earliest examples of non selvedge.

Red tab.

Black bar tack back pockets.

Twisted seam.

Outstanding fade.


Beautifully worn-in condition. Amazing natural whisker fade on front. A repair of one belt loop. Some overall dirty brownish soiling to the back. Tons of character. Please see all photos and don’t hesitate to ask any questions as all sales are final.
