Vintage WWA Holly Hobbie Mug "Friendship makes the rough road smooth." 1973

Celebrate a dear friendship with this lovely keepsake. 

Here is a Vintage WWA Holly Hobbie Porcelain Mug featuring a young woman in gray pinafore helping her friend steer the high-wheel bicycle that reads, "Friendship makes the rough road smooth." It has a pedestal/footed base and ornate handle. Made in Japan, the mug dates from 1973 and measures 4 1/4" tall x 2 7/8" across (4 1/4" including the handle). It appears to be unused. No chips, cracks or crazing, but there are a couple small glazing bubbles noticed from the manufacturing.
