Have your incubator ready. We are sometimes able to ship right away. Please allow up to 10 business days+ however, for our busy times. We ship in order of purchase. Because we want these eggs the freshest possible for you, and our hens do not care about our schedule, we cannot always meet the shipping date stated. Please do not order if you are not ok with the occasional shipping delay.

We save animals using only donations and a little help from you purchasing our hatching eggs. Although we take extreme pride in offering you quality, rare or heritage hatching eggs, please remember we are all volunteers here.

Hatching Egg Info.

Thanks for taking a look at our hatching eggs. Your interest means you must love poultry! Here at the Rescue we have several breeds of rare, threatened & heritage breed birds. They have all grown to be healthy, hardy birds and the hens produce nice solid eggs daily. 

You will receive 12 eggs for the May discounted sanctuary discount of $20. Silver Laced Polish. This special will not include any extra however, sometimes we do have slightly older eggs and instead of letting them go to waste we include with many orders. Most customers find that they are still able to hatch them. Bonus! :)

Can usually ship right away or within 3 to 4 days.

A Guarantee? So, I wish we could guarantee your hatch but that just isn’t going to happen is it? I mean, we don’t know your hatching style. Are you super diligent and up checking your incubators every 5 minutes driving your family crazy or do you throw the eggs in and hope for the best 21 days later? It’s industry standard that mailed eggs usually have a 50% hatch rate. That being said, we can guarantee to you that our eggs are fresh the day we mail them, that we have a good ratio of hens to Roos, (up to the Roos to get their groove on!) and that we will package them up like the little precious valuables they are. We can not control the mail person. Even gently handled mailed eggs rarely give more than a 50% hatch rate. Don’t let that discourage you! Regardless it’s great fun to see the little babies pip out of their shell and start to explore their little world.

Almost done!….. just a couple other quick reminders

• Your eggs may have some dirt/poop stains on them. DO NOT WASH they need that outer layer of protection left on

• If your package arrives damaged with the eggs damaged, please take pictures of everything and notify the post office. Priority mail, which YOU have paid for, includes insurance. Do what you have to do to get your shipping back from the Post Office if the unfortunate happens. That is accomplished online at the USPS. Sorry, we can not control the package slingers and throwers from our town to yours unfortunately. Please do not order if you plan on screaming at us instead of the postal service!

• We are unable to refund your purchase for any reason other than we totally send you the wrong eggs. I can’t imagine we would not double check but chicken poop happens! Just send us pics of the eggs you think were mis-sent on the same day you receive them and we will make it right.

• We do not cancel orders at your request. If you purchase it, you're getting it!

• Please consider leaving us good feedback. Remember, feedback is based on our communication, correct item shipped and eggs wrapped or boxed with every intent to avoid damage. Feedback regarding how the postal service damaged your package is not our fault and should not be left on our review. Thanks.

• Please remember, we are a Non Profit 501(c)(3) animal sanctuary & rescue. We currently have over 200 rescued residents and rely solely on donations with a little help by offering these hatching eggs. Your purchase of these eggs today will go 100% to feed and shelter these amazing rescued farm animals. There is NO ONE on payroll here. We are all volunteers!!
