I have here for sale a book entitled CATULLUS, TIBULLUS & PROPERTIUS et Corn. Galli Fragmenta, quae extant cum variorum Commentarys ex Musaeo Simonis Abbes Gabbema.  This is a RARE book of the works of Catullus, Tibbullus & Propertius, all prominent Roman poets, together with Fragmenta by Cornelius Gallus.  It is a first edition published in 1659 by Gisbert van Zyll and Theod. ab Ackersdyk, in Holland.  It has an illustrated title page.  Notes on the verses at the bottom of each page.  Catallus - 1 Book, Tibullus - 4 Books and Propertius - 4 Books.  Plus Maximiani Elegiarum Libellus by Gallus.  

Full vellum hardboards with handwritten title at the top of the spine and two leather labels with the title lettering (perhaps taken from other copies and attached to this one).  Vellum is darkened in places but mostly to the spine.  Boards firm.  No endpapers and ink ownership inscriptions to the first page.  The odd stain to the pages but really mostly clean.  Binding firm.  836 pages plus index.  19 x 11 cm.
